Current Avian Flu Map 2025. Between 2 december 2025 and 15 march 2025, highly pathogenic avian influenza (hpai) a(h5) outbreaks were reported in domestic (227) and wild (414) birds. From 2003 to 1 april 2025, a total of 889 cases and 463 deaths (cfr 52%) caused by influenza a (h5n1) virus have been reported worldwide from 23 countries.
